Birthday Congratulations
Birthday congratulations to one of our elder members. Fred Greenwood will be 95 on 27th November. We wish him a very Happy Birthday – and many more to come.

Maurice Hardesty
We were sad to hear of the peaceful death , a week before his 90th birthday, of Maurice Hardesty. Maurice and Winnie were faithful members of our “Church on the Crescent” but following Winnie’s death Maurice moved into a Home in Newark. Maurice will be remembered by members of our church and also by neighbours in Slyne not only for his quiet unassuming ways but also for his cheerfulness and availability to help one and all. Our sympathy is extended to Gladys, Winnie’s sister and to Maurice’s family.
Jazz Evening
We had a very enjoyable Jazz Evening and Creole meal attended by 70 people. Thanks to the Bay City Strollers and the cooks.
Special Service
On November 29th at 4 p.m. Yolande will be holding a special service when all those who have died will be remembered. This service is open to all who are mourning the death of a loved one.
Brass Band
A Christmas event will be held on December 13th. In church at 7 p.m. we shall be entertained by a brass band and afterwards a buffet meal will be served in the church hall . Tickets will cost £12.
